Personal pronouns
I, we, you, he, she, it and they are called personal pronoun.
They stand for the three persons
1. First Person - the person speaking. (बोलनेवाला)
2. Second Person - the person spoken to. जिससे बात की जाए (सुननेवाला)
3. Third Person - the person is spoken of. (जिसके बारे में बातें की जाए)
1. First Person :
The pronouns I and we, which denote the person or persons speaking, are said to be personal pronouns of the first person.
Singular. Plural
I (मैं). We (हमलोग)
My, Mine (मेरा). Our, Ours (हमारा)
Me (मुझको). Us (हमलोग को)
2. Second Person :
The pronoun you, which denotes the person or persons spoken to, is said to be a personal pronoun of the second person. You is used both in the singular and plural.
Singular. Plural
Thou (तू). You ( तुम, तुमलोग)
Thy, Thine (तेरा). Your, Yours (तुम्हारा)
You (तुमको). Yours, Your ( तुमको)
3. Third Person :
The pronouns he, she, and they, which denote the person or persons spoken of, are said to be personal pronouns of the third person.
Singular. Plural
He, She, It ( वह, यह). They (वे लोग)
His, Her, Hers (उसका). Their, Theirs (उनका)
Him, Her, It (उसको, इसको) Them (उनको)
