स्वर सन्धि

* स्वर सन्धि * दो स्वर वर्णों के मिलने से जो विकार उत्पन्न होता है, उसे स्वर सन्धि कहते है। पुस्तक + आलय = पुस्तकालय यहाँ 'पुस्तक' शब्द का अंतिम स्वर 'अ' (क = क्+अ) एवं 'आलय' शब्द का पहला स्वर 'आ' दोनों स्वरों के मिलने (अ+आ) से 'आ' स्वर की उत्पत्ति होती है, जिससे पुस्तकालय शब्द का निर्माण हुआ स्वरों के ऐसे मेल को स्वर संधि कहते हैं। स्वर सन्धि के पाँच भेद हैं : 1. दीर्घ सन्धि 2. गुण सन्धि 3. वृद्धि सन्धि 4. यण् सन्धि 5. अयादि सन्धि । 1. दीर्घ सन्धि दीर्घ सन्धि : ह्रस्व स्वर या दीर्घ स्वर के आपस में मिलने से यादि सवर्ण यानि उसी जाति के दीर्घ स्वर की उत्पत्ति हो तो उसे दीर्घ स्वर कहते हैं। अ / आ + अ / आ = आ       इ / ई + इ / ई = ई उ / ऊ + उ / ऊ = ऊ            जैसे:- 1.'अ / आ' के साथ 'अ / आ' हो तो 'आ' बनता है (अ + अ = आ)  हिम + अचल = हिमाचल। (अ + आ = आ)  रत्न + आकर = रत्नाकर    (आ + अ = आ)  विद्या + अर्थी = विद्यार्थी     (आ + आ = आ) वि...
